Our mission is simple: give every child we teach a confident academic foundation and a lasting connection to the Nepali language, wherever their family lives.
Our story
Why DeepShree was founded
DeepShree Education began with a problem many Nepali families in Japan know well. Children were doing fine at their local school, but slowly losing the language they spoke with their grandparents — and parents working long hours had no realistic way to teach reading, writing and maths at home in Nepali.
We started with a handful of children and a small group of qualified teachers in Nepal, teaching live in the evenings Japan time. Word travelled between families. Today more than 70 children learn with us, from Foundation and Nursery through Class 6.
Everything is live. There is no library of recorded videos, because a four-year-old does not learn to read from a screen that cannot hear them.

Every child is known by name
Batches stay small so a teacher can notice when a child is quiet, confused or ahead — and act on it the same week.
Roots as well as results
We teach the school syllabus properly, and we teach Nepali, so children can speak comfortably with family back home.
Patience before pace
Young children learn when they feel safe. Teachers are trained to encourage first and correct gently.
Honesty with parents
If a child needs more help, a different level, or a different teacher, we say so. We never oversell what a class can do.

Where we are
Based in Nepal, teaching Japan
Our teachers and office are in Nepal. All classes are conducted entirely online for families living in Japan — there is no campus to travel to, and timings are always quoted in Japan Standard Time so nothing is left for you to convert.
